The Myanmar Calendar is a lunisolar system used alongside the Gregorian calendar for Buddhist sabbaths, Thingyan, Thadingyut, Tazaungdaing, and everyday astrological checks (Yatyaza, Pyathada, Mahabote, Nakhat). This tool calculates Western dates, Myanmar Era (ကောဇာသက္ကရာဇ်), Sasana Year, moon phase and public holidays from 640 CE to 2140 CE — more than 1500 years.
Months follow the lunar cycle: waxing (လဆန်း), full moon (လပြည့်), waning (လဆုတ်) and new moon (လကွယ်). Years follow the sidereal solar year. A leap month or leap day is inserted so festivals stay in the correct season. Switch language to Myanmar, Zawgyi, Mon, Shan or S’gaw Karen, and choose British, Gregorian or Julian civil conversion.

Sasana Year (B.E.) = Myanmar Era + 1182 before Kason full moon, and Myanmar Era + 1181 after Kason full moon.
Sabbath days occur four times a month: waxing 8th, full moon, waning 8th, and new moon (or month-end).
